Poem #3

By Morel Allahham

In this place of mine

Sheltered, hidden, from the outside world.

I witness dark clouds over my mind,

Sinking back into my shell.

After days and months dragging by

I step outside.

No longer wanting to hide.

Walking before my mind decides to

I witness the unstoppable strength that causes my atoms to take on the ride.

Enough is enough my body says

You are no longer stuck.

There's magic in you, don't you see?

How special you are to me?

The eyes that seethe wonders of the world are at your palms

Just like it states in Psalms.

There is magic everywhere you go,

Even when you are learning to grow.

Spirits of all kinds surround you in this carbon atmosphere

And even past the stratosphere.

Looking through pupils of mine

Witnessing the truth in time.

Finding gratitude and complacency

In what is to be and isn't

In this place of mine.
