I sit here wondering where did the time go.

Wondering the why's, what's, who's in my life.

Life; a contemplation of all the storms and sunny days,

A rush of waves of events that pass along the shore.

Building up in the belly of the sea to crash in moments of memories.

Seeking grievance like a ticking time bomb,

Only to face reality.

Concaves in my mind.

Gaps that need filled, filled with joy that seems so far but so close at reach.

Wondering what happened for my toes to end up on these sandy shores

Wishing the sea could swallow me whole

Like the world did with all my hopes.
