Storytellers Open Mic at SOWAL House – SOLD OUT

For our May Open Mic Night, we're so excited to be returning to SOWAL House of Rosemary Beach. Join us Thursday, June 8th and listen along to brave local storytellers as they share their written and spoken tales. As always, doors will open at 5 and stories will begin at 6 PM sharp. Our Featured Storyteller will be Gregg Ficery.

Tying into our Featured Storyteller which we’ll officially be announcing soon, we give you next month’s theme:  𝓁𝑒𝑔𝒶𝒸𝓎  

Legacy is what lives on long after we’ve gone, the stories and memories that outlast us all. Tell us a story about something that’s been passed down, hand to hand, heart to heart, from generation to generation.

For those interested in taking the mic, we ask that you please email emeraldcoaststorytellers@gmail.com to be considered for a reading spot and include your name, genre, a little bit about yourself, and what you plan to present. We've had a lot of requests and would like to give everyone a chance to share their stories! If there's time for extra people, we'll open the floor before our Featured Storytellers.

Gregg Ficery grew up in a football family in the birthplace of professional football: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Due to his love for family, sports, and his hometown, he spent over 10 years researching Gridiron Legacy: Pro Football's Missing Origin Story. He is also the executive producer of a related television miniseries in development. Gregg lives in Watersound, Florida, is a graduate of Georgetown University, and is the founder and president of Integgra Valuation & Advisory Services
