About the event
Step into the creative world of Distilled Artist Jonathan Kattine and spend an evening exploring acrylic painting through color, imagination, and your own point of view.
Inspired by Dreams & Memories — the collection Jonathan created specifically for his Distilled residency — this hands-on workshop offers a glimpse into his creative process before turning the canvas over to you. Jonathan will share techniques and guidance for working with acrylics as you create a 12x12 painting entirely your own.
Take inspiration from a memory, a landscape, a photograph, a feeling, or simply see where the paint takes you. You can explore the dreamlike, otherworldly style found in Jonathan’s work, bring an idea of your own, or let your piece develop as you paint.
No painting experience required, and no pressure to recreate a particular piece. Jonathan will be there to offer instruction and guidance throughout the evening, whether this is your first…
